Hi, i have been a really heavy pot smoker for 14 years. I have quit once before and had a hard time with the severe cravings, insomnia, anxiety, vivid and crazy dreams and irritability, often getting mad or crying for little or no reason. this lasted about 7 days and i was better.. then i started smoking pot agian and got back into it just as bad as before.. now i decided to quit again and it is hell for me.. i have trouble falling asleep and when i do fall asleep, i am constantly waking up through the night feeling really neaseus and with really bad anxiety.. i am someone that has always suffered with anxiety and panic problems and i have been on medication for it, so im not sure if the mix of the weed and meds makes me feel this way... anyhow, i wake up really sick and i slowly get better as the day goes on.. the effects i am having is really bad and scary and ive been to the doctor as i thought there might be something else wrong with me.. (which there isnt) so it must be the weed.. i was always one to defend it and say it wasnt addictive but it really is and seeing how sick it makes me to not have it really sucks.. i wonder how long this will last.. it has been 7 days and i still wake up all the time feeling really sick.. :(

Lo, because liberals don't care. That's why Obama was elected. Liberals vote for what feels good. That's why. :)

Also, I'm not against using Marijuana as medication if it is recommended by doctors, but marijuana use in general does only damage. This is true based on almost all researches done and stats that you can find in public.

Would you let your children smoke weed? I wouldn't.

This article is a lie. This government bullshit makes me sick. Please explain to me why Obama can admit to snorting coke and smoking weed and get elected as president, and Michael Phelps takes a bong rip and all his accomplishments mean nothing.

well, okay....there is so much controversy over marijuana the debate, I feel, may never be settled. People smoke it for many, various reasons. It is used medically, occasionally or everyday. But I don't feel as though it would sabotage someone's life, other than getting in trouble with the law. And you know if it does, it's unfortunate but we all make our own choices. I mean really have you ever seen anyone in rehab from it? Or anyone on the tv show 'Intervention'? No, not likely. And yes the government, has much influence on how we are to perceive it and have beliefs on it. I've smoked it, but when I got tired of it, I would stop. And then probably start again but like 5 months later. It's different because if you wanna stop you can. There's really not a physical addiction, it's more mental. And yes, all drugs are mental, but cocaine and heroin affect the body differently. You would Need a detox for them. And also what about narcotics? My cousin is addicted to prescription pills, but there legal...from a doctor? Also, alcohol...please, how many people die from alcoholism a year? Or drunk drivers and accidents? Or liver disease? And all alcohol commercials say "Please drink responsibly", well couldn't it just as easily say "Please smoke responsibly"? Who's to say people don't drink on the job? Or cigarettes...lung cancer, my grandfather smoked them and got lung cancer, or breast cancer my aunt for example smoked cigarettes. And both relatives died. Cigarettes are way more harmful, yet there sold and taxed the hell out of them. Like I said it's such a controversy, no one can really say it's bad and no one can really say it's okay. Thanks for reading

Weed is not that extreme. only <del datetime="2009-06-23T18:11:41+00:00">dumb fuck sheep would believe this bullshit</del>. weed does'nt ruin lives people do. weed alone is the safest drug. caffeine can actually kill people but its legal. the government doesnt <del datetime="2009-06-23T18:11:41+00:00">fucking</del> care about peoples lives they only care about money. the only real reason its illegal is because it beat tobacco in sells.

Getting in trouble with the law over marijuana can ruin your life exponentially faster than the simple act of smoking it. I was on an incredible amount of heavy medications that caused me to twitch and have extreme memory loss as well as circulation problems. Marijuana cured my insomnia and my emotional instability that caused me to be on all these medications. I'm not a drug addict, in fact I do not smoke marijuana anymore.

Thus, I am forced to take my old medicine again and am currently suffering from my old symptoms. I don't disagree with your website, but I just think you should have all the facts from real people that used the drug rather than some bullshit government issued study that attempts to explain why it is illegal in the first place.

oh and P.S. All of those side effects listed about the withdrawal process are quite comical. I although am saddened that somebody could put such little effort into checking their facts. Why don't whoever wrote this site actually talk to a real human being about smoking pot, you might be surprised.
