Let’s Not Forget BPA

While we are so distracted by the recent Chinese melamine news distracted us from a bigger health issue, BPA (bisphenol A) let's not forget that fact that we are more exposed to the dangers of BPA than anything else. As a father of a new born baby, I recently learned that just about a year ago, 95% of baby bottles were coated with BPA. We now have more choices as far as baby bottles are concerned, but we are still highly exposed to BPA.

Researchers tested more than 2000 people between the ages of six and 85. And 93 percent of them tested positive for BPA, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. - Source : Scientific American

I want to recommend two web sites where you can learn more about bisphenol A. To understand better, I think you need to hear both sides of the story. The first site on the list will tell you why bisphenol A is not harmful and why we shouldn't be worried too much about it. But the second site will tell you the opposite. Spend some time on both sites and learn more about bisphenol A.
